Finca El Aguaribay
In 2020, we discovered that Entrometido did not have any pure varietal wines. So, we set ourselves the challenge of finding an estate to produce a 100% Malbec. During this search, we found Finca El Aguaribay, in Los Árboles, Tunuyán, at 1150 meters altitude. This estate, planted in 1973, is very close to the bed of the Las Tunas River.
The vineyard
The proximity to the river has shaped the soil of the estate with all its energy. Leaving a combination of stones, pebbles, sand, and calcareous deposits, the result of years of fluvial activity. These soils, ideal for Malbec, along with the altitude, allow the wines from this estate to have the profile we seek for a pure Malbec varietal: a remarkable aromatic uniqueness with notes of fruits and spices plus incredible concentration with volume, roundness, tannic power, and vibrant acidity.
